Ramesh Shah elected Chairman of WNS Global Services Parent

New Delhi, April 18, 2006– WNS Global Services, India's No. 1 business processing outsourcing (BPO) company, today announced the election of Ramesh N. Shah as Chairman of the Board of WNS (Holdings) Limited, its parent company.

Mr. Shah, who joined WNS in July 2005 as Chairman, North America, succeeds David Tibble. Based in New York, Mr. Shah also mentors the company's North American sales team and manages key external stakeholder relationships.

Mr. Tibble, who is based in the UK and is one of the company's founders, will remain as Chairman of WNS UK. Mr. Tibble served as WNS' Chairman from 2002 to 2006. He currently mentors the company's Emerging Businesses unit and manages several critical client and external relationships.

Mr. Bhargava added: “We are indebted to David for his efforts in helping develop WNS as a BPO industry leader. His vision and insights have been instrumental in our growth to date. I am pleased he will continue to be involved with WNS as Chairman of WNS UK.”

Prior to joining WNS, Mr. Shah was the Chief Executive Officer of the retail bank at Greenpoint Bank in New York. At Greenpoint, he transformed and revitalized the company's sales culture by expanding product lines, targeting key customers, exceeding sales goals, creating a focus on sales growth and delivering annual income of $170 million.

Earlier, at Shearson Lehman Brothers, Mr. Shah headed an initiative to integrate investment, lending and banking services under a program called Preferred Client Accounts. He also was responsible for marketing new services, updating product positioning and developing annuity products that generated substantial revenue growth for the company.

During a 13-year career at American Express, Mr. Shah held a variety of increasingly responsible positions in planning, finance and product development and also was president of the broker/dealer unit. Mr. Shah earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bates College and a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University.
