Book Donation at Joymax School by WNS Board

Expansion of WNS Cares Foundation Library

MUMBAI, India, Mar 09, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) --WNS (Holdings) Limited (NYSE: WNS), a leading provider of global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services, today along with its Board of Directors conducted a book donation at Joymax school, Ghatkopar, Mumbai. The activity was a part of the sustainable initiative by WNS Cares Foundation (WCF), under which the first library was set up at Joymax School in Mumbai. The aim was to promote education and encourage reading among the children. Joymax, an English medium school, has around 1,400 children, most of them are from economically weaker sections of society and first-generation school students.

WNS Board members, including Eric Herr, Chairman, WNS Global Services; Keshav R. Murugesh, Group CEO, WNS Global Services; and Shamini Murugesh, Chief Honorary Mentor, WNS Cares Foundation, participated in the event. With this donation, more than 1200 books and 4 library cupboards have been donated to the library, as a part of the WCF library initiative. The distribution of books by the Board was followed by an interactive book reading session between the students and the board members.

Speaking on the occasion, Eric Herr, Chairman, WNS Global Services, said, "We at WNS believe in creating an impact that is sustainable. Hence, providing educational support for the underprivileged is topmost on our agenda."
