The Travelers Championship, a premier PGA TOUR golf event, will take place from August 1 to August 7, 2016 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut.

This year, the primary beneficiary of the tournament will be the ALS Clinic at the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, Connecticut. Since its inception in 1952, the tournament has generated more than $33 million for charity.
